Meet the Wedding Party

Right after we got engaged, we had lots of decisions to make. One of the tougher ones being who we would choose to stand up for us and be in our wedding party. Because we have so many individuals we love in our lives, we simply couldn’t choose just two. So, we decided to have everyone in attendance act as our witnesses and participate equally. However, we thought the younger, special people in our lives - Sam, Meg and Kate (Jon’s nephew and nieces) and Jaime (the child of two of Joanne’s oldest and dearest friends) would feel extra special if asked to play a part in our day. We hope they remember the day as much as we do and want them to know we love them very much. For more information on each of them, click below.

Sam

Sam, 10 years old, 5th grade. Sisters are Meagan and Kate. He loves Jimmy Buffett. His favorite color is blue. His favorite food is fajitas. He is very excited to be a part of his uncle’s wedding and can’t wait to go snorkeling.

Jamie

Jaime, 10 years old, 4th grade. Is the daughter of Robert and Darlene Lachapelle (who the bride has known for 15+ years). Lives in Merrick, Long Island. Her favorite color is also blue and her favorite subject is science. Jaime, like the other members of the wedding party, has logged many long hours in the kitchen with the bride making cookies and pancakes and is excited to be a part of our day!

Meg

Meagan, 8 years old, 3rd grade. Brother is Sam and sister is Kate. She loves the color aqua. Her favorite meal is king crab. She also loves monkeys, cheerleading and spending time at the beach with friends and family.

Kate

Kate, 5 years old (will turn six November 11 right before the wedding). Brother is Sam and sister is Meagan. She loves ducks and elephants. Her favorite colors are pink, yellow and orange. She enjoys hamburgers and french fries almost as much as her uncle Jon and Joanne.
